Enroll a device and verify observed AI use in your organization.

Verify one device and one recognizable AI interaction before a broader rollout.

Before you start

You need access to a Patronus organization with governance enabled, permission to enroll a device, and the Patronus App installed. An invitation gives a person organization access; the device still needs enrollment.

1. Complete enrollment

Sign in through the desktop app’s account control with the account that belongs to your organization. Follow the enrollment flow and confirm the intended organization before continuing.

An installation already bound to another organization needs an explicit rebind. Treat that as a device move, not a routine sign-in; see organizations and devices.

2. Verify protection on the device

Finish setup, start protection, and run the App quickstart test. Confirm the interaction appears locally before investigating organization visibility.

3. Check the organization view

Open the Governance Dashboard through your account’s governance link. Confirm the selected organization, find the enrolled device, and review the AI Asset Inventory for the observed AI system and endpoint.

Governance data must reach the service before it appears. If the entry is missing, check device connectivity and activity, then refresh the organization view.

4. Record a governance decision

Open the connection in the AI Register and record its owner, purpose, and data categories. If its use needs a runtime restriction, prepare and publish a policy; a register status alone does not enforce that restriction.
