Patronus ARK
Understand the security analysis behind local protection and hosted scans.
Patronus ARK analyzes content for security risks in local protection workflows and the hosted scan service.
Analysis and action
Section titled “Analysis and action”ARK identifies signals such as prompt injection and sensitive data. Desktop policy determines how observed activity is handled; API consumers decide how to use a scan result.
A detection is not proof that a request was blocked. Verify the runtime outcome in the desktop app, or implement that action explicitly in an API integration.
Choose where analysis runs
Section titled “Choose where analysis runs”| Option | Use it for | Start here |
|---|---|---|
| Local desktop analysis | Security analysis on a protected device, using its installed runtime and models | Local inference |
| Patronus Security CLI | Scanning local files, public URLs, and MCP servers, with optional native agent integrations | Install the CLI |
| Hosted scan API | Submitting text or text files from an application for analysis | API Reference |
ARK performs security inference. It does not serve as a general-purpose chat model or replace your AI provider.
Availability
Section titled “Availability”Local analysis is integrated with the Patronus desktop runtime and depends on the capabilities available to your installation. For a separate ARK deployment, contact Patronus to confirm distribution, requirements, and support.
